Water Spot Removal Service.
Water spots on your car can be either above the surface mineral deposits or below the surface etching. The removal process for the two types of water spots are different. The above surface water spots are caused by minerals left over from the evaporated water. These normally include calcium and magnesium deposits and can be professionally removed by Scrubs with a combination of chemicals and clay bar decontamination.
The below surface water spots are etchings and will require machine polishing to remove. Typically water spots below surface require a minimum of two stages of polishing with three to four stages also not uncommon. Therefore proper correction of deep etching can be a time consuming process that requires patience and an expert eye for detail.
Water spots on glass windows can be safely removed by our trained staff. We can use a combination of chemicals and glass polish to restore optical clarity.
“Hard Water” Defined
This type of water is full of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, metal cations, and compounds such as sulfates and bicarbonates. When “hard water” contacts glass, it can form water spots that are unsightly and hard to get rid of. These spots can even cause irreparable damage to your windows if you don’t get rid of them quickly. Why?
Glass IS porous, and corrosion will occur to a point where only 3 options will be open. First, chemical treatment. If that does not work, grinding and polishing the glass is your next step.
If neither of those two does not work, you will need to replace the glass which of course will cost potentially thousands of dollars.
